Welcome to rigchurchlagos.org, the website of Rig Church Lagos. These terms explain the basis on which we make this site and its content available to you. Please read them carefully. By browsing the site, sending us a message, or giving through the links we provide, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. About us and these terms

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Rig Church Lagos, meeting at Commerce House, 1 Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. “You” means anyone who visits or uses this website.

These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

2. What this website is for

This site exists to share the ministry of Rig Church Lagos: our services and gatherings, our teaching and sermons, prophetic words, our programmes such as Rig University and Equipping the Saints, and the ways you can partner with or give to the work. Information on the site is provided in good faith and for general information.

Service times, event dates, venues, Zoom details, programme content and partnership benefits may change. We update the site as promptly as we can, but we cannot promise that every detail is current at every moment. If something matters to your plans, please confirm it with us first.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use this site lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
• Send abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or deliberately misleading messages through our forms or contact details.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, our staff platform or any connected system.
• Introduce viruses, malicious code or anything designed to disrupt the site.
• Harvest email addresses, phone numbers or other details from the site, or send unsolicited marketing to them.
• Copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
• Present yourself as speaking for, or raising funds on behalf of, Rig Church Lagos without our authorisation.

We may restrict or refuse access to anyone who breaches these terms.

4. Our content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content on this site, including text, sermons, teaching, prophetic words, photographs, videos, graphics, the Rig Church Lagos name and our logos, belongs to Rig Church Lagos or to Rig Nation and its ministries, or is used with permission. It is protected by copyright and other rights.

You are welcome to view, download and share our content for personal, devotional, non-commercial use, and to share links to our pages and videos. You may not sell our content, edit it in a way that changes its meaning, present it as your own, or use our name or logo to endorse anything, without our written permission. Requests are genuinely welcome: write to info@rigchurchlagos.org.

5. What you send us

When you send a message, prayer request, testimony, photograph or any other material through this site, you confirm that it is yours to send and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. You give us permission to use it for the purposes of ministry, which may include praying over it, following up with you, and, where you have given specific consent, sharing a testimony publicly.

Please do not send sensitive financial details such as card numbers or bank passwords through the contact form. We will never ask you for them by email or phone.

6. Giving, donations and partnership

• All gifts, offerings, welfare fund contributions and partnership payments are voluntary.
• Online payments are processed by Paystack on its own secure pages, subject to Paystack’s terms. Bank transfers are made to our account with Providus Bank PLC as shown on the Donate page.
• Because gifts are voluntary and are applied to ministry work as they are received, they are generally non-refundable. If you believe you have given in error, for example a duplicated or mistyped amount, contact us as soon as you can and we will look into it fairly and promptly.
• Monthly partnership continues until you cancel it. You may stop or change your partnership at any time through the payment provider or by contacting us.
• Partnership benefits described on the Partner page are provided as part of our ministry to partners. They may be adjusted over time, and they are not a purchase of goods or services.
• We apply gifts to the ministry purpose for which they were given. Where a purpose is fulfilled or is no longer viable, we may apply the gift to the closest related need.
• Please give only from funds that are lawfully yours to give.

7. Events, services and programmes

Registration for a class, cohort or event may be subject to additional requirements we tell you about at the time. Our gatherings are often photographed or recorded for teaching and for sharing the ministry online. If you would prefer not to appear in a photograph or recording, please speak to a member of our team and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Our site links to and embeds services we do not control, including YouTube, Google Maps, Paystack, FormSubmit, our social media pages, rignation.org and our staff platform at nextsteps.rigchurchlagos.org. We provide these links for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Availability of the site

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of viruses, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Rig Church Lagos, its leaders, staff and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, income or opportunity, arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Rig Church Lagos against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this site.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. Where a dispute arises, we ask that you first contact us so we can seek to resolve it amicably.
